Earlier this year, Preston Rowe Paterson had the honour of sponsoring a prize at Western Sydney University (WSU). This was presented at the “School of Business Dean’s Medal Awards Ceremony and Donor Awards Presentation”.
“I was a prize recipient when I finished and it’s great to be in a position to be able to sponsor a prize today.”

Preston Rowe Paterson
The Preston Rowe Paterson Prize was awarded to James Norville for “the best performance in 200360 Property Project individual report on property valuation in Bachelor of Business (Property)”.
“When I first embarked on the Degree, I didn’t think that it would possible to obtain a level of achievement, as I had a young family and I worked long hours. But after graduating with Distinction, and now being awarded the PRP prize, it is very satisfying, and makes all the hard work worthwhile!
I didn’t believe it. In fact I emailed Professor Graeme Newell as I thought there may have been a mistake! When Graeme confirmed that I was definitely the recipient, I was over the moon! My wife is pregnant at the moment, and is due to give birth in December – so it is all about survival! In the meantime I certainly do not want to rest on my laurels, and want to continue to learn and grow to enable me to be as successful as possible in my career.
To be recognized by a diversified property firm such Preston Rowe Paterson is an honour. I would like to work in a firm such as this one day, so this recognition is a real boost! The prize money is very generous, and to be able to put this on my resume is priceless.”
– James Norville
Congratulations again to James Norville. We are delighted that the winner of the Preston Rowe Paterson Prize was received by such a hardworking and humble individual. We wish you the best of luck in your future studies and career in property.
