George Paton joins the Preston Rowe Paterson team

We are pleased to announce that George Paton has joined the team as a Consultant Valuer at Preston Rowe Paterson.
George brings invaluable experience and extensive knowledge of the property market with a long standing history of iconic achievements such as being the first person to use computer valuation programs in Australia in 1978; and seconded to Commercial Union Properties in the United Kingdom in 1979 to specialise in computer valuation programs and other technical aspects.
George has a plethora of valuation experience in:
- Major commercial valuations;
- Major shopping centres;
- Industrial;
- Specialised improvements;
- Property consultancy; and
- Major rent reviews, consultancy, determinations and mediation.
An expert valuer in matters before various divisions of the New South Wales Supreme Court, George was officially appointed an expert witness by the President of the Law Society of New South Wales, the President of the New South Wales Division of the Australian Property Institute, Administrative Decisions Tribunal and major legal practices on varied issues such as valuation, rental and real estate practice.
George is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and Certified Practising Valuer, Fellow of the Real Estate and Stock Institute of Australia, Accredited Commercial Mediator with Australian Commercial Disputes Centre; and an Accredited Mediator and Evaluator to the Supreme Court of NSW. In addition, George has written articles on various topics, including Bulky Goods Retail, for journals such as the Law Society Journal and the Chartered Account.
